A graduate of Howard University, class of 1987, Dr. Elliot Rand started his dental practice in 1990. Always believing in the concept of one stop dentistry, his business model began to take shape in 1993. As a visionary, he built a practice that to this day has a team of 40 employees from GPs, specialists, sedation, and more. With countless hours of CE, he is most proud of bringing more leadership to his team and other doctors. Dr. Rand is an avid photographer, having traveled to over 40 countries world wide and completed bi-polar plunges in the Arctic and Antarctic, as well as underwater photography. He is an avid LEGO builder and collector.
Mike Buckner has spent the last 12 years growing dental software technology companies that are designed to streamline office efficiency, increase overall production, while elevating the standard of care for your patients. He led business development and partner strategy for Solutionreach, back when offices were just starting to text patients to confirm appointments. He then helped grow Dental Intelligence during it’s startup phase leading partnerships. He then joined Weave while it was in its infancy, leading partnership growth strategies. His most recent endeavor finds him as the Executive Vice President of Revenue at Pearl, the first company to bring Artificial Intelligence into the dental space with comprehensive FDA clearance to assist the clinicians and team members in reading and detecting pathologies in 2D X-rays.
