Diljeet Taylor is the transformative Women's Cross Country Head Coach and Associate Director of Track and Field at BYU. Celebrated for her dedication and innovative coaching methods, Coach Taylor has expertly guided her teams through adversity, achieving athletic and academic excellence.
Her coaching philosophy emphasizes resilience, inspiring her athletes to overcome challenges and succeed through dedication. This commitment has not only led to an NCAA Division I National Championship but also fostered a culture of excellence that impacts every aspect of her athletes' lives.

Clayton Young, ASICS® professional athlete and 2024 Paris Olympian, began his career at Brigham Young University. As a senior, he secured the NCAA 10,000 meter track title in 2019.
He has achieved remarkable success in road racing, winning four U.S. titles at 8k, 10k, 15k, and 20k. He ran a breakthrough marathon performance in October 2023 where he clocked 2:08:00 — the 7th fastest time by an American — and met the Olympic Standard. In February 2024, Clayton placed second at the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon and qualified for Team USA.
Beyond running, Clayton enjoys "daddy-daughter dates" with his two girls and evening walks with his wife, Ashley. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering.
