Clayton Young
ASICS® Professional Athlete & 2024 Paris Olympian
Clayton Young, ASICS® professional athlete and 2024 Paris Olympian, began his career at Brigham Young University. As a senior, he secured the NCAA 10,000 meter track title in 2019.
He has achieved remarkable success in road racing, winning four U.S. titles at 8k, 10k, 15k, and 20k. He ran a breakthrough marathon performance in October 2023 where he clocked 2:08:00 — the 7th fastest time by an American — and met the Olympic Standard. In February 2024, Clayton placed second at the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon and qualified for Team USA.
Beyond running, Clayton enjoys "daddy-daughter dates" with his two girls and evening walks with his wife, Ashley. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering.
