With over 15 years of experience as a practicing dentist, Dr. Naved Fatmi has gained recognition as a leader, educator, and advocate within the industry. A natural teacher, he has served as an educator with Palm Beach State College and Larkin Community Hospital, along with lecturing at the University of Florida, helping to shape the next generation of dental professionals.
Dr. Fatmi made history as the youngest member ever appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry, later becoming its youngest guest chairman. He continues to serve the state on the Board’s Probable Cause Panel, upholding standards of care and integrity in the field.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Fatmi has a strong passion for the business side of dentistry. He is the owner of multiple successful dental practices across Palm Beach County, where he focuses on building strong teams, modern systems, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
A respected national speaker, Dr. Fatmi remains deeply committed to giving back — both within and beyond the dental community. But above all, his most important role is being a proud father to his two children, Noah and Ameera.
Starting in childhood and reinforced in the workplace, we’ve been conditioned to think of accountability as a “bad word,” often tied to blame or discipline. In reality, accountability, when embraced positively, is one of the most powerful tools for building a strong, success-driven culture — especially in a DSO environment.
This session will explore how accountability can be reframed as a source of pride, ownership, and motivation. We’ll discuss how individual successes create ripple effects across an organization, building a culture that inspires people to contribute their best.
Instead of accountability being top-down, we’ll focus on empowering staff to set their own goals — aligning personal aspirations with organizational objectives. When team members hold themselves accountable, they take true ownership of their work — and the leadership team’s role shifts from “telling” to “supporting." Whether you’re at the front desk, leading a team, or managing a region, this session is designed to equip you with strategies you can put to work immediately.
• Foster a positive view of accountability.
• Encourage team members to define and commit to their own goals.
• Build a culture where successes — big and small — drive collective achievement.
